AS/NZS Dust Masks
Our range includes 6 series approved to Australian/New Zealand Standards, AS/NZS 1716:2012. Multiple shapes are available such as economy moulded cup shape, fold flat shape, and preformed cup shape.
Among the many benefits offered by the respirators are: easily-adjustable straps; nose bridges which mould to the shape of the nose, defending against uncomfortable pinching and the need for constant readjustment; protection to help keep the product looking clean; an exhalation valve which aids with easy breathing even in uncomfortable environments; and a resilient design to ensure a longer lifespan.
These respiratory protective devices are majorly used in Cement, coal industries, construction, textile, wood working, processing, pharmaceutical foundries, fertilizers, glass, paper industries and so on.
According to AS/NZS 1716:2012
Our Dust Masks conform to AS/NZS 1716 Respiratory Protective Devices and will contain information on the filter class (P1 or P2).
Class P1 masks are intended for mechanically generated particles, and P2 masks for mechanically or thermally generated particles. Class P1 or P2 dust masks will not protect against chemicals or toxic vapours such as:
organic vapours from paint fumes, thinners or glue; acid fumes; gases such as carbon monoxide from petrol engines.
